My MIL has invited someone to Thanksgiving. Someone she felt I needed to be warned about. Someone who says "the meanest, most vicious things." This should be fun.

She didn't show up. I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. I practiced a lot of faces and snappy comebacks.

So it's like this – my 18month old hit me in the lip with his head and now I have a huge bruise on my face. Everyone is staring while pretending not to stare.
That happened to me when I was pregnant with my second. I had a black eye. Everyone glared at my husband.
