My second son has entered the terrible twos. I can tell because my sweet, sweet son screamed for an hour tonight, threw his dinner at me and refused to stop crying until he could sit on my lap and feed me crackers that I didn’t want to eat. (more…)

How to Stick Up for Your Kids
As a parent of two young children, I’ve learned to stand up for my children. This has brought up lots of memories of times when my parents stood up for me as a child and even as an adult. They were just moments that reminded me that my parents are funny, great and badassed. (more…)
My Top Ten Parent Fails So Far This Week
It’s been a hell of a week for me and my poor kids.
1. I was asked to leave by my four year old’s daycare teacher while he was screaming facedown on the “quiet couch” begging for his blankie.
2. My 17 month old tried to bite an 18 month old who was trying to play with my 4 year old.
3. My 17 month old screams for his pacifier. In fact, he hides them around the house and WE DON’T KNOW WHERE THE STASHES ARE. (more…)
